Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Webmail Wiki (https://www.webmail.wiki) is an informational website about email: settings, troubleshooting, shortcuts and comparisons. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit, in plain language. We keep it short because we collect very little ourselves.

Who is responsible

The site is operated by Thexyz Inc, 18 King Street East, #1400, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1C4, Canada ("we", "us"). You can reach us at legal@webmail.wiki. The site is hosted on Blogger, a service run by Google, so Google also handles some information, as described below.

What we collect ourselves

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run our own sign-up, login, newsletter or payment forms. The Setup and Fix pages are tools that run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. What you click or select on them is not sent to us or to anyone else, and is not stored by us.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply, and we keep it only as long as we need to.

What Blogger and Google may collect

Blogger is operated by Google. When you load a page, Google's servers receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. Blogger may set cookies or similar technologies, may show cookie or consent notices to some visitors, and may provide us with summary visitor statistics. We do not control these tools. Google's handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and its rules for Blogger content are in the Blogger Content Policy.

Analytics and advertising

To our knowledge, we have not deliberately added third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or advertising networks (such as AdSense) to this site, and we do not sell personal information. However, Blogger's own built-in statistics may be available to us in aggregate form, and Blogger or Google may use cookies for statistics, security or consent notices that we do not directly control. If we add analytics or ads in the future, we will update this policy first and tell you what they do.

Comments

Blog posts may allow comments through the Blogger comment system. To comment you generally sign in with a Google account. Your comment, your display name and the profile picture on your Google account may be shown publicly, and Google handles your sign-in under its own privacy policy. Please do not post passwords, account numbers or other private details in a comment. We may moderate or delete comments. To ask us to remove a comment you posted, email us.

Contributions and edit requests

We welcome suggestions for corrections and additions. If we offer a contribution or edit-request form, it may be provided by a third party such as Google Forms, and what you submit goes to us and to that provider. We use it only to review and, where appropriate, make changes. Send only what you are happy for us to read, and never include your email password.

Third-party links and affiliate links

Many posts link to other websites, including email providers and our own company's service, Thexyz. Some of those links are affiliate or referral links: if you follow one and buy something, we may be paid. When you click, the other site may set its own cookies or record that you came from this site. We do not control those sites; please read their privacy policies.

Cookies

We do not set our own cookies on purpose. Cookies you may encounter come from Blogger and Google, from the comment system and sign-in, from any embedded content, and from third-party sites you reach by clicking a link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as commenting, may not work if you do.

Our commitments under Canadian privacy law

We follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA):

  • Accountability: we are responsible for any personal information we hold, and our contact person is listed below.
  • Purpose and consent: we say why we need information, and we only use it with your consent or as the law allows. By emailing us or posting a comment, you agree to it being used for that purpose.
  • Limited collection and use: we collect only what is needed to run the site and answer you. We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • Safeguards: we protect what we hold with reasonable measures, but no system is completely secure.
  • Retention: we keep personal information only as long as needed, then delete or anonymize it.
  • Access and correction: you can ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it.
  • Openness and complaints: we will answer questions about this policy. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Where information is stored

Blogger stores and processes data on Google's systems, which may be in the United States or other countries. Your information may therefore be subject to the laws of those countries, including access by their authorities.

Visitors in the EU and UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for handling the little data we have is your consent (for example, when you email us or comment) and our legitimate interest in running a helpful website. For anything handled by Google, Google is responsible for its own processing. To use your rights with us, email us.

Visitors in California

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to ask for its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email us to make a request.

Email and CASL

We do not collect email addresses for marketing, and we do not send marketing or promotional email unless you have clearly opted in. If you ask to receive messages from us, you can withdraw consent at any time by replying to say so. If you email us a question, we will use your address only to reply.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the site.
